Join us in examining the teacher practices that contribute to creating a strong press for academic achievement in our students. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practices they are currently using in their classrooms while gaining additional ideas from colleagues around practices such as creating an academically demanding environment, instructional practices that promote student achievement, and creating opportunities for student responsibility and leadership. The impact of teacher collective efficacy and strategies to strengthen the efficacy in schools will serve as the foundation for this learning opportunity.
